To be a trusted business advisor to small and medium-sized businesses as well as to individual taxpayers by delivering accounting information and tax filings and sound tax advice in a timely and accurate manner. THE FOUNDER:
Mark W. Nichols is a licensed CPA with an extensive work and educational background. He founded Mark W. Nichols, CPA, P.C., in 2000, after over eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston where he spent most of his time working with closely held and family owned businesses.
A tax specialist who provides businesses and individuals with strategic tax planning, bookkeeping and consulting services, Mark also works extensively with startup companies, assisting them in making the appropriate tax decisions and establishing a business structure that will minimize the overall tax burden on the owner.
While at PricewaterhouseCoopers, he provided tax-consulting and compliance services to a variety of family-owned businesses in a variety of industries, including high technology, retail, manufacturing, venture capital, real estate, and law. Among his many accomplishments, Mark used his tax-planning savvy to assist clients in restructuring their businesses prior to sale to minimize taxes and optimize after-tax cash flow and shareholder wealth.
